Registrar's Meeting:  Date, Time, Location to be announced.  The meeting is for ALL LEAGUE REGISTRARS.  New registrars should contact Steve at d5registrar@aol.com.  Steve needs registrar's address, phone, fax, email info.  To view a map to Steve's house, click on the address above.

Paperwork Turnaround Time:  Typically it will be 2 weeks.  When the crunch comes it could go to 3 weeks.

I will not respond to a coach arriving at my door.  I will answer questions from League Presidents or League Registrars.  All others correspondence should come through the League Registrar.  There is a box in front of my house where paperwork can be dropped off or picked up.  Please remind coaches, parents etc. not to call me.  They will be referred back to their League Registrar.

What's required for processing:  All paperwork and fees are to come as a package.  If the package is not complete you will receive an email message detailing the needed corrections.  The paperwork held until corrections are made.  .

Order forms by mail, e-mail or fax to Steve Pinner and I will forward to CYSA or fill from an inventory that I have here.

Registration Dates & Deadlines for District 5

Team rosters, proof of birth, and passes due for all other traveling teams starting play in September.

Coach registration due to the district.  If your league is on computer, these will need to be put on the same disk as your player data.

This is the latest deadline for turning in the majority of player registration to the district.  This includes the fees also.  See PIM 88-1 called  Registration Deadlines/ Penalties in the Team Manual.

All other rosters are due to the district.   These are your recreational teams.

Please only submit the white copy and keep the yellow and pink copy in case this team goes to Tide Cup.

IMPORTANT!  All your teams need their own three digit number.

Make sure that in-house player changes are included on these rosters.  District WILL NOT be very understanding about Founders Cup if your league’s rosters (including changes) are not registered with the district by October 1.

Check the Team Manual for the State Cup deadline for application.  Remind your traveling teams about this date.

General Registration Information & Age Matrix 

No youth is to participate in team practices or competitions without being registered with their league as required by CYSA.  A  youth is registered when he or she has completed a CYSA registration form and paid the registration fee (or is granted a scholarship).  Players attending tryouts prior to league registration must either complete registration before tryouts or be CYSA registered the previous playing season. 

Your league of residence may have more specific rules pertaining to registration. Please check with them.

Registered players will be rostered on teams by age.  Players must be at least 4 years old and no older than 18 by August 1.

A player is bound to a team for the seasonal year once officially rostered (roster signed by league official, unless an official transfer or release is obtained.  No changes can be made to a team's roster without approval by the District Registrar.   Player add, release, or transfer forms must be filed and any fees paid to the District.  A player transfer request requires all signatures.
